And what each one is actually good for.
In short
Seven outdoor locations around Hadera and the Sharon: Hadera Stream Park, the Givat Ada fields, Hadera Forest, Burj, Caesarea, the Zichron Yaakov pedestrian street, and horse farms. Two are worth singling out. In Hadera Forest the tall trees filter the light, so you can shoot there at almost any hour rather than only at sunset. And Hadera Stream Park has nature, a bridge, the stream and the sea within walking distance of each other — several different looks without driving between them.
Hadera Stream Park
The most flexible location in the area, because it is not one location but several: nature, a bridge, the stream itself and the sea. You can move between them in a single session without getting back in the car, and end up with an album that looks as though it was shot in three different places.
The Givat Ada fields
Open fields belonging to an agricultural moshava. The landscape there looks like nowhere else nearby, and it works best for sessions that need space and quiet — maternity and family, mostly.
Hadera Forest
The tall trees filter the light, and that changes the planning: most outdoor locations mean waiting for the last hour before sunset, and here you can shoot at almost any hour.
Burj
An old structure beside fields that turn green in season. Two completely different kinds of photograph in one place, without changing location halfway through.
Caesarea
The sea and ancient ruins in the same frame. It suits sessions that want something more ceremonial.
The Zichron Yaakov pedestrian street
Stone paving, cafes and a European feel. This is where to go when you want an urban backdrop rather than nature.
Horse farms
Any horse farm in the area works. It suits bar and bat mitzvah books and halake sessions particularly well, when a child loves animals.
How to choose
Most families choose on two questions: how far is the walk from the car, and which backdrop suits them. If you are not sure, tell me who is coming to the session and at what time, and I will suggest one.
