When should you book a newborn photo session?
Book during the third trimester, then confirm the date after the birth.
The short answer
Get in touch during the third trimester. We hold a provisional date around your due date and confirm it after the birth. Studio newborn sessions are usually scheduled between the fifth and fourteenth day.
Why arrange it before the birth?
The first days at home move quickly. An approximate date means one less decision after the birth. It is not a fixed appointment: once your baby arrives, we confirm a date that works for your family.
When does the session take place?
Studio newborn sessions usually take place between the fifth and fourteenth day. A session takes a few hours, but it does not run on a strict clock. There is time for feeding, settling, holding your baby, and breaks. Parents and older siblings can be included too.
What is ready at the studio?
The studio has backdrops, props, and outfits. Before the session, you will receive a clear list of what to bring. This makes the planning simpler: you do not need to choose every detail before you arrive.
What happens after the birth?
Send an update after the baby arrives. We use the estimated date as a starting point, then confirm the final session date. If your plans change, say so when you get in touch and we will look at the options available.
What should you arrange in advance?
